Description
APPLICATION:
All Annex II cargoes can be removed using TANK CLEAN VLC.
This substance can be combined in various concentrations and used for a variety of things.
The cargo tank can be cleaned of vegetable, fish, animal, and mineral oils, petroleum-based chemicals, and hydrocarbons by using TANK CLEAN VLC. It can also be used to clean and degrease double bottoms, deep tanks, bilges, and other surfaces.
CLEANING OF TANKS:
Before using TANK CLEAN VLC, it is advised to pre-wash the tank with hot water between 40 and 60 degrees Celsius.
Inject TANK CLEAN VLC straight into the BWT line or gun cleaner when using an automatic tank-wash system in a solution of approximately 2 to 4 litres per 1000 litres of water. Give the solution roughly 30 minutes to absorb and react. Then use hot water to thoroughly rinse all tank surfaces.
RECIRCULATION TECHNIQUE:
Use a 0.2% to 0.4% concentration. Allow 2 to 5 hours for circulation through a pumping system. The solution should be heated to between 40°C and 60°C for the best results.
For about 2 to 3 tanks, depending on capacity and pollution, use the same solution.
